I received the call from a friend to photograph the elopement of his older brother and now wife in November 2025. Having no wedding photography experience under my belt prior to this, the emotions ran wild. Excitement and anxiety battled as the day approached, despite a strong relationship building behind the scenes behind my client and I.

The day of, we began at a park in Huntington, New York, capturing family portraits in the brisk yet sunny November afternoon. This followed a transition to Cold Spring Harbor, where the family set up an intimate scene with the harbor in the background. The sun provided a wonderful glow for golden hour, allowing me to frame the feeling of two people uniting forever.
